Anton Dolin, one of Russia’s most respected film critics, will present an overview of the 2025 film year in Europe and discuss the season’s most important movies. The event will take place as a live talk with the audience — a unique opportunity to explore cinema together with a world-class expert.

Anton Dolin is a Prosvetitel Award laureate (2024), a member of the Golden Globe Awards jury, former editor-in-chief of Iskusstvo Kino magazine, a well-known radio host, and film critic for the TV show “Evening Urgant.” His deep analytical insights have made him one of Russia’s most cited film experts.

Program highlights:

Review of the key 2025 premieres and reflection on how cinema has evolved at the turn of a new era.
From Nosferatu to Frankenstein: how classical images are reimagined in the 21st century.
Hollywood vs. Evil: “Sinners,” “Superman,” “Fantastic Four,” and other hits.
The legacy of David Lynch and new hopes of world cinema — Jim Jarmusch, Jafar Panahi, Nadav Lapid, Bong Joon-ho, Wes and Paul Thomas Anderson.
