Water Sports Festival 2025 – waves and energy in Munich
On November 16, 2025, the Olympiahalle Munich will host the spectacular Water Sports Festival 2025 – a celebration of water, sport, and motion that will unite more than twenty disciplines and hundreds of participants from across Europe.
The program includes demonstrations in surfing, water polo, paddleboarding, diving, freediving, and water yoga. Visitors will be able to join open training sessions, test new sports equipment, and meet professional athletes. For children, a special area with swimming lessons and interactive water games will be available.
The festival’s motto, “Water – our resource for the future,” highlights sustainability and responsible water use. All partners committed to using recyclable materials and eliminating single-use plastics.
Beyond the sporting events, the festival will feature an extensive entertainment program: daytime competitions, evening concerts, DJ performances, and light shows. A food court will offer healthy drinks and low-carbon dishes.
Organizers expect more than 15,000 visitors and athletes from Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland. The Water Sports Festival 2025 aims to become not just a sports event but a symbol of a new culture of active, conscious living and environmental awareness.
